Singapore!

Having Arrived, we checked out some local sites. We're planning a two day trip to Malaysia to see the sights and relax and get over the jetlag before the festival. More in a few days....

Hey Matthew - Don't flag on this blog. It's a great thing for us left-behinds. More pictures! More tales of flying over Mongolia! More Matthew and the Snow Lion!

Matthew, I can now admit, I noticed this kind of lion-like protector entity hovering behind you during teachings in Brooklyn. I tried to convince myself it was just a trick of the light. I am glad to see I was not crazy and that now you are in Asia, it has become fully manifest. Phew. (Such of lovely picture of you, makes me wish to be there more and more).

Hey Matt,
Make sure you behave.
In Singapore it is a crime to do almost anything,
except shop. Even smalltime belching can get your hands cut off. Be sure to stay away from Orchard Road where 15 malls are stacked side by side in what is known as the death of credit mile. In the words of Joseph Conrad: "The horror, the horror..."
But there are some lovely hinduist temples you should see as a sort of visitors court courtesy.
